Admissions
Bright Futures Nursery School is Ofsted registered for a total of 52 children.

Of these not more than 9 may be under 2 years at any on time (Early Years Register, compulsory part of the Childcare Register)

The above statement is taken from the registration document and is the overriding policy in respect of admissions.

Children are admitted to the nursery after consultation between parents, carers and nursery staff.

We are committed to providing a positive and inclusive environment for all, where diversity is welcomed and mutual respect and understanding is promoted. Here at Bright Futures we operate an “open door” policy.

No application for childcare will be treated less favourably because of a child’s race, gender, culture, disability, class, belief, sexual orientation, and lifestyle or family circumstances.

We continually monitor and review the nursery’s admissions policies and procedures to ensure they are not prejudice and do not discriminate against certain groups of both the local community and wider society.

We advertise the nursery and our facilities throughout both the local community and wider society, e.g. brochures are sent to local community centres, web site. This is to ensure that one no group in the local community and wider society has the monopoly over access to the nursery and its facilities.

Training will be sought and undertaken if deemed necessary to support our admissions policy
